Mover's Guide

Moving is considered to be one of the most stressful events in a person's life. However, with the right kind of planning, you can make your move a lot less stressful. One of the most important things you should keep in mind is to stay organized. A good way to do so is by using a countdown checklist.

Once you are ready to move, or shortly thereafter, an important step is transferring your utilities to your new address. We have designed this section of our website as to help you with that process. Please download our Change-of-Address Checklist so you don't forget anything. The following list contains numbers and instructions to local utility companies such as electricity, gas, phone, cable, satellite, DSL, Internet, and more.

6. Last, but not least.
In addition to changing your address with your utilities, you should also remember to do the same with your cell phones, credit cards, magazine subscriptions, financial institutions, and loan programs (auto loans, student loans, etc.). Please download our Change-of-Address Checklist so you don't forget anything. In most cases, your most recent billing statement will have a section where you can fill in your change of address.
